Noticing what is already happening
A mindfulness-based, body-centred therapy, in Oxford or online. We work with you in particular, not with a category you fit into.
Hakomi is a mindfulness-based, body-centred approach that brings unconscious patterns into awareness. Through gentle and respectful exploration, we begin to recognise how long-held beliefs shape our reactions, our relationships, and our sense of self. Rather than analysing or fixing, Hakomi trusts awareness itself to support change, allowing patterns to soften and reorganise in their own time.
With guidance and care, we learn to notice what is already happening, whether that is sensation, emotion, gesture or impulse, without needing to know how or to get it right. In this inner landscape, a shared field of safety and loving presence develops, allowing experience to be seen and met as it is. I am here to support this process with sensitivity and attunement, so that nothing has to be forced or figured out alone.
This work offers a deep complement to Meditation and lived experience. Where Meditation strengthens our capacity for presence, Hakomi brings that presence into relationship, and into the moments of life that are tender, surprising, or challenging. Over time, it supports self-discovery and a growing ability to meet life as it unfolds, with clarity, responsibility, and compassion.
We begin by meeting each other and taking a little time to arrive, allowing the nervous system to settle and creating a sense of safety and presence. From there, you’re invited to check in with yourself and notice if there’s anything you’d like to share. If nothing feels present, that’s completely okay too.
With time and space, the right thing naturally begins to unfold. Together, we allow the process to reveal what wants attention in this moment, trusting that what emerges is exactly what’s needed.
I trust this process deeply, and you’re welcome to simply arrive as you are. This means you don’t need to worry about what to bring or how the session should go unless you want to.
For me, Healing is about empowerment and inspiration. It’s an invitation for you to explore your inner world and allow your own wisdom to be felt and experienced. This is a collaborative process, rooted in compassion, spontaneity, and harmlessness.
I’m not here to tell you what to do, but to support you in discovering and reconnecting with your whole self. My role is to support you, offer loving presence, creating the conditions for what wants to come into awareness to do so organically.
Looking forward to meeting you...
