This page sets out how I work, so that you can decide with a clear picture. Please read it before your first session, and ask me anything that is unclear.
For Homeopathy, I am a student Homeopath under supervision, in my third year of supervised practice at The School of Homeopathy. I am not yet a qualified or registered Homeopath. My supervisor, Janet Taylor, is an experienced, qualified Homeopath who reviews the cases I take.
This is why my Homeopathy fees are lower. My Hakomi Therapy work is separate, and I am a Certified Hakomi Healer with the Hakomi Education Network.
To look after your care properly, I discuss my Homeopathy cases with my supervisor. Where it is needed, she may see the relevant parts of my notes. She sees only what is relevant, and she keeps it confidential.
What you share with me stays between us, apart from supervision as described above. There are rare situations where I may have to share information without your agreement: if there is a serious risk of harm to you or to someone else, a safeguarding concern about a child or vulnerable adult, or a legal requirement. Wherever it is safe and appropriate, I will talk to you about it first.
You are welcome to message me between sessions, by email or on WhatsApp, and I usually reply within two working days. I am not able to respond to urgent situations, so please do not wait for my reply if you are worried about your health.
Please see your GP, or call NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999. If you are struggling and need someone to talk to, you can call Samaritans free, at any time, on 116 123.
Before your first session, I will ask you to confirm that:
Your consent is voluntary, and you can withdraw it at any time.
If anything about our work together troubles you, please tell me, and raising a concern will never affect how I treat you. You can also contact my supervisor, Janet Taylor, through me, or for Hakomi Therapy, the Hakomi Education Network.
